Need Hope? Book Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak Today!

Need Hope? Book Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak for your next parish mission or conference!

After being tempted in the desert, Jesus began His ministry in Galilee by quoting the words of the prophet Isaiah:

“The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned.” (Matthew 4:16)

My friends, there is no need to be afraid or to remain in the darkness. Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, is with us! For close to four years, I have been delivering that message to parishes and conferences throughout the United States and Canada and lives are being changed. By presenting the Lord’s message (as contained in Scripture and through the teachings of His Church) and sharing how He has helped me to overcome severe anxiety, I have been blessed to bring thousands of individuals closer to Jesus Christ. But I want to do more…

I want to bring the life changing message of Jesus Christ to your parish or conference!

I am currently booking speaking engagements for 2016 (and beyond), but I still have some openings for Fall and Winter of 2015. In addition to my regular speaking topics, I have developed 3 new topics that I know will help draw people closer to the Lord:

You Can’t Walk On Water If You’re Sitting In The Boat! – Did you ever feel like God is asking you to do something, but you’re afraid? That’s perfectly normal. Whenever the Lord asks us to do anything, there is always some element of fear involved. There’s no reason to let fear stop you from letting God work great miracles in your life, however. In this talk, Gary will give you practical advice for conquering even your greatest fears and teach you how to surrender control of your life to the Lord!

How To Live One Day At A Time – Regretting the past and worrying about the future can make us very anxious. And, while it sounds simple, living “one day at a time” is often easier said than done. In this talk, you will learn how it is possible to live joyfully in the present moment. Using the “1-2-3″ method that has worked in his life, Gary will show you how to live one day at a time!

Getting Personal With Jesus – Many people go through life knowing about Jesus, but never get to know him personally. Sadly, many Catholics don’t even know that it’s possible to have a close, personal relationship with Christ. Using some of the techniques featured in his soon to be released book on the topic, Gary will give you practical suggestions for becoming close friends with the Lord. In addition, you’ll discover why it’s critical that you share Jesus with others and learn simple ways to do so.

As with all of my topics, these titles can be presented as a 3 day parish mission, a single day retreat or a 1 hour talk. Please visit my Speaking page or email me to find out more information, check my availability for a particular date or book an engagement.

Don’t be content to walk in the darkness and think that there is no hope. With Jesus Christ in your life, you can walk in the light and remain hopeful. Skeptical? Let me help you. Contact me today and let me deliver the “Good News” in person!

Gary Zimak is the author of “A Worrier’s Guide To The Bible”, “Listen To Your Blessed Mother”, “From Fear To Faith” and “Faith, Hope and Clarity.” He is a frequent speaker at parishes and conferences across the United States and Canada, has an international radio following and is recognized as the leading Catholic speaker on the topic of overcoming anxiety. In addition to hosting his own daily radio show on BlogTalkRadio, Gary is a regular guest on EWTN television and radio.

A Great Example Of Combining Faith And Work

Catholic speaker Gary Zimak addressing the Catholic Business Network of Greater Philadelphia

I recently had the privilege of presenting “Give Up Worrying For Lent” to the members of the Catholic Business Network of Greater Philadelphia. Under the leadership of president Barry Phillips and guided by board members such as Bobby Maurone and Chris Martin, this group does an admirable job of helping members to combine faith and work.

Having worked in the corporate world for 30 years prior to becoming a full time Catholic speaker and author, I know just how important it is to live the Catholic Faith in the workplace. It’s definitely a counter cultural message, but it’s one that is vital. I speak to many Catholic business organizations and I am always inspired when I see individuals who strive to bring their faith into the workplace. After all, we are called to be Catholics 24/7, not just on Sundays!

Thank you, Catholic Business Network of Greater Philadelphia for doing what you do. Keep up the great work!

I’m Heading To California…Want To Come Along?

Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak launches his Fall "From Fear To Faith" tour by visiting Southern California

This week is going to be a busy one for me. On Tuesday, September 9, I’ll be traveling to Southern California to officially kick off my Fall “From Fear To Faith” speaking tour. While I’m there, I will speak to two Legatus chapters (Sept 10 and 11) and appear live in studio on the radio program, Catholic Answers Live (Friday Sept 12 at 6 PM Eastern). In addition, I’m currently leading the yearly 33 day preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary on my daily Following The Truth radio show (I’ve pre-recorded this week’s episodes).

Please keep me in your prayers as I travel to bring the “Good News” of Jesus Christ to a world very much in need of hearing His message. I’ll be documenting my travels on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest. If you’d like to keep track of me, you can follow me by clicking on the appropriate link (or the icons just to the right of this post).

Contact me if you’d like me to speak at your parish or conference. It would be an honor to bring the Lord’s message to your town!

God Bless,
Gary

I Stopped Worrying And You Can Too! Let Me Share My Secret…

Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak instructing a parish audience on how to overcome anxiety

Are you tired of worrying? There is hope! In conjunction with the release of my latest book, From Fear To Faith: A Worrier’s Guide To Discovering Peace, I am now scheduling speaking engagements for 2015 and beyond. I’d be honored to visit your parish or conference and share the method that has helped me to break free from my lifelong worrying habit. My calendar is rapidly filling up, so please contact me today in order to lock in your desired dates.

Here are a few endorsements from people who have heard me speak:

“Catholic speakers don’t usually make me laugh. If they do, they don’t make me think or help me grow in my relationship with Christ. Gary Zimak does both… and more. His unique way of mixing humor with profound insights into the Faith has helped me to go deeper into the mysteries of the Catholic Church.”

Patrick Novecosky
Editor-In-Chief, Legatus magazine

“Gary is a brilliant, insightful, and engaging speaker. His talk at the Catholic Leadership Conference was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable, and his splendid sense of humor caught me completely off guard. I highly recommend Gary as a speaker for any event.”

Kevin Lowry
Chief Operating Officer, Coming Home Network International

“Gary Zimak’s deep faith and light-hearted approach makes him the perfect evangelist for the every-man of today. His gentle soul and self-deprecating humor allow him to connect with people so that his reminder of the Gospel message, “be not afraid” is warmly received and easily believed by those who are blessed to hear him speak.”

Elizabeth Westhoff
Director of Marketing and Mission Awareness, Archdiocese of St. Louis

“Gary was the guest speaker at our March, 2014 Martinus of Northern Michigan (Catholic Business Organization similar to Legatus) chapter event at which he presented his talk titled, “Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry”. The response received from our membership was enthusiastically and genuinely positive. It is with the greatest confidence that I would endorse Gary Zimak for your consideration as a guest speaker at an upcoming Parish Mission, conference, or other Catholic community event.”

Wayne Sterenberg
Program Chair, Martinus of Northern Michigan

“We invited Gary to speak to more than 130 women of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield, Indiana for the 18th Annual Ladies Candlelight Dinner sponsored by our Altar Rosary Society. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Gary’s topic of “Pray, Hope, and Don’t Worry” was a perfect fit for the women in attendance. He opened our eyes to using our Faith to deal with the anxiety we experience in our day to day lives. His use of scripture and humor was the perfect combination to reach the women of our Parish. We were blessed to have Gary attend our event and recommend him as a speaker for any parish event.”

Adena Vaughn and Laura DuVall
Co-Chairs, Ladies Candlelight Dinner, St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (Westfield, IN)

“Gary Zimak is an outstanding speaker. He speaks at the “level of the people” without watering-down the teachings of Scriptures and the Church. Having served as a pastor of a parish struggling with a merger and closing of a school, my parishioners found his message refreshing and uplifting — reminding us of God’s Divine Providence and presence in all the events of life. I have also known Gary personally for many years. He is a prayerful father and husband and a faithful witness of the Gospel. I highly recommend Gary to any pastor or church community wishing to hear the message of the Gospel and how it applies to the dealings of everyday life.”

Fr. Allain Caparas
Director of Catholic Identity, Gloucester Catholic High School (Gloucester City, NJ)

Gary Zimak 2014 Lenten Speaking Tour Kicks Off On March 12th!

Here’s One Of The Reasons I’m Grateful For My Struggle With Anxiety

Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak addressing the St. Maria Goretti Altar Rosary Society at the annual Ladies Candlelight Dinner in Carmel, Indiana

Here’s a nice article about yours truly written by Kevin Cullen for The Catholic Moment, the newspaper of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. Kevin was in attendance on the night that I spoke at the annual Saint Maria Goretti Ladies Candlelight Dinner and he did a great job covering the highlights of my talk. I have already heard from someone who wasn’t at the talk, but was comforted by the message in the article.

I am extremely grateful to be able to travel around the country sharing the “Good News” of Jesus Christ. I’m also grateful for my lifelong struggle with anxiety because it has brought me closer to Jesus and allows me to relate to and help my fellow “worriers”. While I was employed as a computer programmer, I never thought I would be working for the Lord on a full time basis. Now that I’m doing it, however, I can’t picture myself doing anything else!

Here’s Another Reason Why I’m Blessed To Be A Catholic Speaker!

Catholic Speaker Gary Zimak on the night of his talk at the annual Saint Maria Goretti Ladies Candlelight Dinner in Westfield, Indiana

On February 20, 2014, I had the privilege of being the featured speaker at the annual St. Maria Goretti Ladies Candlelight Dinner in Carmel, IN. I spoke to the 130 women present about overcoming worry by growing closer to Christ. I also got to discuss how important Mary is in winning the battle over anxiety. It was an experience that I’ll never forget. Above is a picture of yours truly and my new friends. Thank you for your hospitality, ladies. Keep up the good work. It was very inspiring to be in your presence. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers!
