On tonight’s Following The Truth radio program, I read the account of Jesus and the two blind men (Mt 9:27-31). When the men approached Jesus and asked for healing, Our Lord replied, “Do you believe that I can do this?” They responded, “Yes, Lord”. After healing them, Jesus said “Let it be done for you according to your faith.”
When you present your intentions to the Lord, how would you respond to His question? If (like most of us) your answer is “I guess” or “Maybe” or “I’m not sure”, you should probably also ask for an increase of faith.
That simple request could be just what Jesus is waiting to hear…
