Today the United States celebrates Memorial Day, a holiday that honors the memory of those who gave their lives while defending our country. While it’s easy to think of this day as nothing more than the unofficial beginning of summer, let’s take a minute to say a prayer for the souls of those who gave their lives so that we could enjoy a day at the beach or a family cookout.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends
